Today's the day

Is there software you've always wanted for your business, but never built because of the price?

Custom software used to be for big companies with big budgets. Now we write the code with AI, so the dashboard, automation or app you pictured gets built faster, and for a fraction of what custom software usually costs.

  • The dashboard with the whole business on one screen
  • The automation for the chore your team repeats every week
  • The app your customers keep asking for

Super simple software to solve everyday problems. We like challenges.

How it works

  1. Book a free build call

Tell us the job your team repeats every week, or the tool you always wanted. We ask how it runs today and which tools it touches.

  2. We build it

We write the code with AI, so it gets built faster and for a fraction of what custom software usually costs.

  3. Your team gets its week back

Your people check the results instead of doing the work, and spend the time on customers.

What would your team do with 37 extra hours a month?

What we build

If a person on your team does it the same way every week, it is probably on this list.

  1. Reports that build themselves

Ad, sales and call reports pulled from the tools you already use, written up by AI and checked by a person.

  2. Call recording and grading

Every call recorded, transcribed and graded against your own scripts, so you coach with facts.

  3. Data bridges and importers

Your data moved out of vendor systems and into places you own, and fed to the automations that use it.

  4. Customer comeback automations

Texts and emails that go out on their own to customers you have not seen in a while.

  5. Web and mobile apps

Custom tools your team or your customers use every day, on the web, iPhone and Android.

Who it's for

  • Local and retail stores

    • Win-back texts
    • call grading
    • review requests

Pawn, auto, jewelry and multi-location shops with customer lists stuck in the point of sale and phones nobody has time to review.

  • Marketing agencies

    • Automated client reports
    • call tracking and grading

Agencies that lose the first week of every month to client reports and cannot hear every call their ads create.

  • Service businesses

    • Data bridges
    • custom dashboards
    • internal apps

Teams of 5 to 100 copying data between systems, keeping spreadsheets alive, and hiring people to push paper.

What you can build

The tool you always wanted is probably simpler than you think. Here are some of the everyday problems custom code solves.

See all 56 ideas

If someone spends the start of every month building the same report, software can build it for them. Your team just reviews and sends.

Every call is a customer. Software can record, sort, score and follow up on them so none slip through.

The numbers you check every morning, on one screen that updates itself.

The follow-ups everyone means to do and nobody has time for. Software sends them on schedule, every time.

Your systems do not talk to each other, so your people do the talking for them. We build the bridges.

Small apps built around how your team already works, instead of forcing your team into software built for someone else.

AI that knows your business, answers the easy questions and handles the busywork, so your people can focus on customers.

What your customers see and use: websites, customer portals, and web, iPhone and Android apps that make you easy to buy from.

Proof we run on it ourselves

Shmo Software LLC is a marketing agency and custom software developer. Our own agency work gives us real problems to solve, and we use what we build to run the business.

  1. 40 hrs to 3

    of report work every month

    Pawn Leads, our marketing agency

The monthly ad reports that ate the first week

    Before
Every month our senior team built Facebook Ads and Google Ads reports for every client by hand. It took about 40 hours, the whole first week of the month, which is also our busiest week.
    What we built
Software that pulls the numbers from Facebook and Google on its own, builds each client's report, and flags anything that looks off for a person to check.
    After
About 3 hours of review a month. The reports carry more detail than anyone had time to write by hand, and the first week of the month belongs to clients again.
    • Facebook Ads API
    • Google Ads API
    • AI summaries
    • Scheduled jobs
  2. 6 stores

with every inbound call graded, running today

    Pawn Leads, our marketing agency

Every call graded, without listening to every call

    Before
Our Facebook ads sent people to call the shop. To know which ads brought good calls, someone had to listen to recordings, and nobody has time to listen to all of them.
    What we built
Tracking numbers on the ads, then an automation that records every inbound call, turns it into a transcript, and grades it against the shop's own scripts and quality checks.
    After
It runs today for 6 local jewelry and pawn stores. We know which ads bring real customers and which bring junk calls, and owners coach their team with real calls. Nobody sits with headphones on for hours.
    • Call tracking
    • Transcription
    • AI grading against SOPs
    • Alerts
  3. $350 a month

saved, and the data is ours

    Pawn Leads, our marketing agency

    Getting our own data back

    Before
Our records were uploaded to a big vendor's server, and the vendor charged a monthly fee to keep holding them. Our own data, behind someone else's paywall.
    What we built
A bridge: an automation that downloads the new data on a schedule and moves it onto our own secure internal server.
    After
The $350 monthly bill is gone, and the data sits on hardware we own and control.
    • Scheduled sync
    • Secure file transfer
    • Internal server
  4. Win-back

texts and emails that send themselves

Pawn Leads, for the local stores it markets

Customers you forgot about, coming back

    Before
The best customer list a shop has is locked inside its point-of-sale software and phone records, where marketing tools cannot see it.
    What we built
Custom importers that pull customers out of business software and databases, so automations can act on them: people you have not seen in a while, or people who asked about something on a call.
    After
The right message goes to the right customer on its own, and regulars come back more often.
    • Custom importers
    • Database sync
    • Marketing automations
